Properties and Stability of 99.99% Ammonium Perrhenate:
99.99% Ammonium Perrhenate is white flaky crystals; solubility: Slightly soluble in cold water, soluble in hot water; used as an oxidizing agent. Relative density (water = 1): 3.97.
1. Decomposes at 353°C. Unlike potassium permanganate, 99.99% Ammonium Perrhenate is quite stable even in strong alkaline solutions, but its oxidizing power is weaker than potassium permanganate. Its solubility in water varies according to different literature. For example, 17g is soluble in 1L of water at 0°C and 162g at 50.2°C.
2. Incompatible Materials: Organic matter, reducing agents, sulfur, phosphorus, and flammable or combustible materials.
3. Conditions to Avoid: Heat.
4. Polymerization Hazard: Does not polymerize.
